[Back in the day] when I had my driving lessons my driving instructor took full control of what I learned, I was told exactly what to do & why I needed to do it!
I remember my driving test day at Sidcup with great fondness I passed somehow !!! the joys quickly turned into nightmares though. I got home there sat my car proudly waiting for its maiden voyage just one problem no-one was sat next to me telling me what to do, I now needed to be fully aware, to make the right choices and to be responsible for the outcomes of those choices, I was faced with situations I hadn't been exposed to in my driving lessons or when I had been in that situation before I had been told what to do taking no responsibility for my actions at all.
my training involves you from the very beginning through to the very end.
the training I deliver is not driving test focused.
my aim is to produce a critical thinking safe driver for life.

You will be encouraged to express your thoughts during your driving lessons. You will be encouraged to think about situations that have happened in your lesson, using reflection to learn from situations, opportunities & mistakes.
Mistakes are a big factor in learning.
An active client centred learning approach Will help you learn centred around how you learn best. This may include the use of videos, in- car recordings, demonstrations, visual aids or simply just more practice.
Being involved in the learning process means you will be problem solving more effectively, efficiently & confidently after you have passed your test & driving alone making those all important decisions we constantly face whilst driving.
Coaching , rather than instructing is in my opinion a more compelling customer experience.
