Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think.’
Learning facts is not going to keep someone alive on the road; learning how to think is going to empower you to make safer decisions and choices based on an understanding of who you are and this is likely to improve your chances of staying alive on the road.
Addressing the higher levels of the Goals for Driver Education (GDE) and developing self-evaluation skills in drivers is critical to safe thinking when driving.
